Corfu or Kerkyra is just around the corner for paradise-like vacations in Europe. It is often the chosen destination for many Dutch, English and German tourists. Paradisiac landscapes, the amazing Greek cuisine and warm hospitality are part of this experience. Another landmark of this fascinating island is also our furry cat friends. Once seen is difficult to ignore. It can be that friendly kitty asking for a bite of your dinner or that constant presence in the rubbish's bins all over the island.

Felinthropia was founded by a veterinarian and maintained by volunteers and cat lovers all around the world. Our mission is to provide food, water and medical care to the stray cats in Corfu. We also promote neutering and spaying campaigns together with local veterinarians. Neutered / spayed cats live safer and therefore longer lives, which means that they require more attention and veterinary care.
